While the Lucas children will not inherit a large fortune from their father’s investments, they are unlikely to mind because they now have their careers and benefit from being a part of the Star Wars universe. Amanda was an MMA fighter for several years before giving birth to her son in 2014. Katie is a screenwriter who has worked on many episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, while Jett continues to work in the film industry. He has undoubtedly established himself as one of the most influential actors in the world since successfully breaking into the Hollywood film industry.

Up until recently, no one knew that McGregor was a father. We weren’t sure because the Star Wars actor keeps his personal life relatively private. McGregor and Mavrakis welcomed their first child, Clara, 22, shortly after they married, and Esther, 16, followed a few years later. Jamyan, a 4-year-old Mongolian girl, was adopted by the couple in 2006, and their youngest daughter, Anouk, arrived in 2011. McCain’s older child, Doug McCain, was Carol McCain’s first of two sons from her first marriage. Doug, like his father, went on to become a Navy pilot and is now a captain for American Airlines. Andy, Carol’s youngest son, chose to take a direction that was profoundly entwined with his adopted father’s life but in a way that was distinct from his brother’s. Andy began working for Hensley Beer Company after graduating from Vanderbilt with a bachelor’s degree in Arts and an MBA in Mathematics.

Neve Campbell | Raynor

Raynor, who was adopted, joined the lovely family six years later. The actress wrote on Instagram after the completion of the process that welcoming Raynor was the “most amazing thing they have ever encountered.” Caspian is now eight years old, and Raynor is two, making Campbell a full-time mother of two children of somewhat different but equally challenging ages. That hasn’t stopped her from working, and after a brief break, she is back in full swing. Neve is content with her family and investments, which she wouldn’t trade for anything.

Jane Fonda | Mary Williams

Jane Fonda has been a celebrity her whole life. The Hollywood legend has received two Academy Awards, been chastised for her extreme political beliefs, and built a fitness empire. Even though the actress has maintained a degree of fame throughout her career, one aspect of the former wife of billionaire Ted Turner might surprise others: Fonda has a third daughter, Mary Williams, in addition to her two biological children.

Mary was moved from East Oakland to Fonda’s estate in Santa Monica when she was 14 years old. It wasn’t just that a wealthy family saved a poor girl from a broken home, but Fonda and Mary had a bond because they were similar. Lulu became involved in advocacy as an adult, establishing the Lost Boys Foundation, which deals with Sudan’s Lost Boys. When Woody and Mia Farrow were still dating, Mia adopted Dylan when he was two weeks old. Dylan now works as a writer and has released her first book, Hush.

Mia also adopted Moses, a two-year-old son from South Korea, in 1980. Moses was one of the three kids whose care was at the core of the court case after Mia and Woody’s separation. Speaking of Allen, he moved on and got married to Soon-Yi. The couple then adopted Bechen from China and Manzie from Texas. Though Bechet and Manzie have never spoken to the press, they often post pictures of their parents on social media.

Barbara Walters | Jackie Danforth

Barbara Walters was a prominent star in the world of journalism by the late 1960s. Walters had already established her degree of credibility as a reporter for The Today Show and had her views anchored on the morning show, but there was one title she aspired to above all others: mother.

Walters and her then-husband Lee Guber had attempted but failed to conceive a child. After three losses, the couple decided to try adoption, and in 1968, they welcomed Jackie into their family. Walters kept the specifics of Jackie’s adoption a secret at first, but she has gradually opened up about her path to motherhood over the years. Jamie Lee Curtis, the original scream queen, may be best known as Lindsay Lohan’s mother in Freaky Friday, but she is the best mom to her children. The actress wanted to be a mother, so she and her husband, Christopher Guest, adopted their kids, Annie and Thomas Guest. Curtis and Guest welcomed their daughter Annie in 1986, almost immediately after she was born. However, not all celebrity children fall in their parents’ footsteps. Annie didn’t follow in her mother’s footsteps in Hollywood, but she did pursue a career in the arts.

Annie began teaching dance at the age of 16 and graduated from Kenyon College with a degree in dance. She became a professional dance teacher and team member at the MNR Dance Factory in Los Angeles. In 1996, the couple welcomed their son Thomas, who, like his sister, has chosen not to work in the family business. However, he has pursued a career in the arts and now works for a gaming business. Curtis is an empty nester now that her daughter is married and her son has a job. At the very least, she has Guest by her side, as she always does.
